I have participated in several events with the Japan-America Association of South Carolina. Events include the Greer International Fair and various networking events.
Clemson University Japanese Cultural Association - Vice President
Served as vice president. Helped to facilitate meetings and inform members of the community on Japanese customs and culture.
Clemson Anime and Manga Club - President
This organization is focused on appreciation of Japanese animation as a unique artform. Served as President for two years. Facilitate meetings and conversation on weekly topics relating to Japanese art in the realm of animation.
Greenville Literary Association
The Greenville Literary Association is a nonprofit educational facility offering classes in GED attainment and English as a Second Language (ESL). Served as a volunteer ESL tutor to a group of adult learners. Taught weekly classes to a group of 6 adults from various countries.
